The Olive Tree Christmas Market Festival will be the biggest market of 2012 with an amazing 150 stalls!! Its going to be an fantastic day with an incredible ensemble of talented artists & designers attending! THE OLIVE TREE CHRISTMAS POSTER COMPETITION WINNER!!

WOW it’s been a very hard one to judge! All the posters were fantastic and there has been a lot of very positive feedback!! 

However!!! Based on the Judges Votes & The People's Choice Votes Di Jones from Sketch & Jones is WINNER of the First The Olive Tree Market Christmas Poster Competition!!

Di also won the PEOPLE'S CHOICE VOTE! SECOND PLACE was a tie between Belinda Suzette belindasuzette.blogspot.com.au & Emily Boyd of littlehappybears.blogspot.com.au

There was also a lot of votes in the People's Choice and a tie for THIRD PLACE to Lucy Boulton Smith, Fiona Budzynski & Emma Kidd & Gwena Levasseur. To all the other Finalists there were lots of votes for you too!!

Christmas Poster Competition Finalists Exhibition

Drum roll!! These are the Finalists of the first The Olive Tree Market Christmas Poster Competition! All of the finalists came up with fantastic designs! Thanks so much for the creative effort! To allow our lovely sponsors Imprint, Eckersley's Art & Craft & The Star to give us their Vote the Winner will now be announced on November 4th. This will give you more time to see the exhibition as we have had lots of people tell us they would love to vote for a 'people's choice' award!

Christmas Poster Design Competition

Call for Entries 

The Olive Tree Market is excited to launch the first The Olive Tree Market Christmas Poster Design Competition! The competition details are outlined on the Call for Entries Poster below! If you are not that familiar with market posters we have included a few below but only as examples! The objective is to create something visually striking, engaging and vibrant. Exciting new imagery is the aim! Don't be afraid to use a little old school techniques and add a little texture!! Creativity is the aim! There will be an exhibition of the competition finalists at Suspension Cafe, the winning poster will be used for the Christmas Marketing Campaign which will feature on posters, postcards and in local print media and the winner will receive $300 + a $200 Eckersleys Gift Voucher +Small Prize Pack. The 2nd Place will win a $50 Eckersleys Gift Voucher + Small Prize Pack + $50 Olive Tree Market Gift Voucher. So start thinking and we can't wait to see what you come up with!
